GTECH E BIKE SPORT electric assist bike in excellent condition. 2 Years old but only ridden a couple of times a month in summertime. Brake pads have been recently upgraded to Clarke Elite. Everything, including the battery is in full working order, and weighing only 16kg (unlike most other E bikes of around 25kg) this is a lovely bike to ride. I originally bought the bike to continue cycling after a leg injury.
With a 20" cross bar frame, this electric bike is designed to help you enjoy the journey. Its sporty frame is coupled with a saddle designed for a more dynamic seated position, perfect for outdoor adventures. This electric assist bike uses a battery to power the rear hub motor, so you can continue to pedal normally while moving more quickly and easily over a variety of terrains. With 2 modes to choose from, Eco and Max, you're in complete control.
The battery itself is lightweight, coming in at just 1.4kg, so you wont even notice it on the bike while you ride, and you can easily carry a spare with you for a longer journey - I am able to get around 25 miles on a full charge on a mixture of flat and hilly terrains in Eco mode. Fully charged in just 3 hours, this battery is charged off the bike.
With the unique belt-drive system there are no confusing gears to worry about, and no messy chain - pure simplicity!
